Customize survey form in SharePoint 2010

Default look of a survey form:

Required survey form styles:
1.Zebra striping
2.The question column needs to be reasonably wide
3.Add some space between each questions

Final Look:

Followed these two articles:

Note:

In the Survey Settings, I only created one question that included all the questions.

  1. Hello. I was wondering how you did #2 (make the question column wider). The other 2 worked great (other than IE throwing a security error with the zebra striping one and having to click “load all content” before it loads the colors). If i could figure out how to make that question column a bit wider on my survey that would be awesome. thanks.
